Pamukkale – a real Turkish diamond
Pamukkale or "Cotton Castle" is one of the most interesting landscape places in Turkey. This natural and cultural site in the southwest of the country is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List and is famous for its stunning white travertines and terraced ponds (baths). Interestingly, Pamukkale from Oludeniz is one of the oldest resorts in the world. Here you can see the ruins of ancient baths belonging to the era of the Attalids, rulers of the Kingdom of Pergamon. In addition, next to the travertines there are the ruins of an ancient city
Hierapolis. Pamukkale, without exaggeration, is the place where you need to visit at least once.

Ancient city of Hierapolis
Hierapolis was an ancient Greco-Roman and Byzantine city located in southwestern Anatolia. Its ruins are adjacent to modern Pamukkale in Turkey and are now an archaeological museum listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The name means "sacred city" and the ancients believed that Hierapolis was founded by the god Apollo. It was famous for its sacred hot springs, whose vapors were associated with Pluto, the god of the underworld. Here you can find a sealed poisonous cave, which is believed to be a passage to the underworld.

Cleopatra's healing pool
Cleopatra's Pool is a very valuable symbol of the area. Imagine, this is where the queen of Hellenistic Egypt herself basked. This pool is truly unique! It is naturally filled with mineral revitalizing water and, while relaxing here (water temperature +35-36 °C), you will feel a surge of fresh energy and real skin renewal. The warm water of Pamukkale has special properties in the treatment of cardiovascular, neurological, skin and gastrointestinal diseases.
